Meet the artist

Belgian painter and designer Vanessa Genachte lives between Brussels and Marrakech, creating works inspired by life.

She explores shapes and colors in her work, which falls somewhere between figurative and abstract, an in-between in motion. Organic figurative art. Spontaneous and multidisciplinary, she explores different techniques in her work, including acrylics, pastels, felt-tip pens and inks, as well as paper collage and digital art.

Vanessa expresses the symbiosis and link between the idea, the gesture and the representation of the living. She creates in a perpetual momentum, like a meditative breath between mind and body, and this energy is felt in her work.
